    We can't accept every item. State health and safety regulations, condition, and merchandising all factor in — and disposing of what we can't sell costs the charity money. Not sure about something? Call your nearest location and ask.

    Bring it by.

    Pull up to any of our four locations during drop-off hours. A staff member will meet you at the door, take what you've brought, and have you back on the road in a few minutes.

    Bin Drop

    Quick and easy.

    Donation bins are placed in parking lots across Kansas City. Best for clothing and small household items when a store trip isn't in the cards.

    Every dollar raised at City Thrift stays in Kansas City. Proceeds fund City Union Mission's shelters, meals, recovery programs, and family support across the metro — work that's continued without interruption since 1924. When you donate a coat or a coffee table, you're putting that work on the ground a few miles from your front door.
