Whether you are an individual, a small group, or a company, here you’ll find ideas of how you can join our mission.

1. Donate Items & Shop Thrift!

It’s easy to donate  to our stores across Kansas City. Bring used clothing, toys, furniture, shoes, housewares, games, tools, and more!

Our most popular method is to simply bring your items to a store where they can be processed and you can shop in Kansas City for used clothes, furniture, toys, and more. Items may also be dropped off at any City Thrift community donation center.

2. Volunteer for Camp

Each year, City Union Mission leads a camp with a Christ-centered atmosphere where underprivileged kids encounter personal faith, a healthy lifestyle, unique camp opportunities, and loving relationships while engaging in fun activities.  Volunteers are always needed for week-long assignments and one-day assignments.  Camp CUMCITO runs from late June to early August.  Without enough volunteers, kids are on a standby list until the volunteer needs are met.

3. Financial Contribution

The City Union Mission accepts contributions to help with meals, shelter, and other needs for our community.  Some of the donations even help the children at Camp CUMCITO!
